Experience: Andy Smith has 13 years of experience working in geology-related fields and applications including materials testing. Andy is a skilled field geologist, and has logged hundreds of hours of both: surficial geologic field mapping; as well as subsurface borehole and test pit logging. Andy has overseen pile construction and installations associated with Alyeska Pipeline realignments. Andy is a competent project manager and is currently responsible for the execution of all of the geotechnical exploration programs conducted by NGE, Inc. Andy is also WAQTC qualified in asphalt and aggregates and an ACI certified concrete sampling technician. Andy has excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and has extensive experience dealing with municipal, state, and federal permitting and compliance agencies. Andy has developed a good working reputation with local contractors and developers and is known for accomplishing project goals on-time and under budget.
