NGE-TFT performed preliminary geotechnical evaluations and developed foundation recommendations for pile design efforts in association with the Strategic Reconfiguration efforts at five of twelve pump stations along the TransAlaska oil pipeline. NGE-TFT also provided engineering oversight during pile installation at each of the five pump stations. We designed a septic effluent outfall system for Pump Station #4 which included a thermal analysis and monitoring of the proposed outfall system as well as construction oversight for outfall system.
NGE-TFT provided on-site geotechnical engineering expertise to 17 separate fault crossings along the 785 km oil and gas pipeline construction effort on Sakhalin Island, Russia. Duties consisted of slope stability evaluations, drainage adequacy determinations, and right-of-way re-instatement and special trench construction monitoring and inspection.
