Infiltration and Perc

An infiltration/percolation test is a test to determine the absorption rate of soil for a septic drain field. The results of a percolation test are required to properly design a drainage system. We provide infiltration testing service in general accordance with the falling head percolation test procedure outlined in Table 3.9 of the EPA Onsite Water Treatment & Disposal Systems Manual (as specified in Paragraph 9 of Section 9.2.1 of the Municipality of Anchorage Drainage Design Guidelines). We will also record groundwater level as outlined in Section 9.2.1 of the MOA 2007 Drainage Design Guideline (DDG) manual.
